Third-party services on our website

Our fonts and icons are served from our own website. Some features use third parties: Stripe’s payment form at checkout, and the free postcode lookup service postcodes.io when you look up your postcode or use your current location on the home-visit form. Approximate locations are worked out on our own server using the DB-IP database (IP Geolocation by DB-IP); your IP address is not sent to them. When your browser contacts these services, they receive your IP address and basic device information. Links to Google Maps open Google’s website.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers (for example Stripe) may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard, such as a UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

These include hashed customer passwords with email confirmation, two-step sign-in for staff, restricting access to staff who need it, and using Stripe so your card details never reach our systems.
